Catalyst Safety Policy
Let's break down the rules of the gymnastics game! Safety first, so make sure your athlete is tuned into their coaches and follows all the safety guidelines:
- Our coaches are top-notch, certified by the Nationally Certified Coach Program (NCCP).
- No solo acts on the gym equipment; a certified Catalyst Coach must supervise.
- Only healthy kiddos allowed! Coaches can veto participation for health reasons.
- Parents, be ready to sign a permission slip to participate after any boo-boos or sniffles.
- Keep the gym vibes positive only - no disruptions allowed! .Remember the "Golden Rule".
- In Parent and Tot classes, one parent sidekick per child in the gym.
- Safety alert: siblings and snacks like gum or food are a no-go in the gym. But sealed water bottles are welcome!
- Cameras off! Privacy is key, so no snapshots or filming during class.
- Dress code: comfy and snug gym attire with hair tied back, no bling or zippers.
- Leave valuables at home, as the storage area is unguarded during class.
- Parent/Guardian (Over 18) must escort and pick up gymnasts under 12yrs old promptly for their safety.
- Athletes aged 10-12 can be released solo with a signed Gymnast Release Form.
- Weather woes? If Halton schools hit pause, so do our daytime programs.
- Sorry, no makeup classes or refunds, even for unexpected hiccups like power outages.
